Do NOT ask "When will .... be released?" on the cbox!!! If you do, you will be banned. This is a STUPID question, we do NOT know the answer (we always release as soon as a chapter is ready), and it ANNOYS us so much that it delays the releases.
A little bit of history...
Manga Abyss was created by the end of April 2007 by Yumiko and Vy-chan. They managed to make it in the big scanlation group it is now, with lots of people working together to bring you high quality scanlations. By May 2008, Vy-chan left and Mai is now replacing her as the shoujo admin. We are very proud that we kept the group going in spite of the depart of one of the admins and we hope that we will celebrate lots of anniversary together with you all =3
Random stuff about us...
Some people seem to think that we are all from the US, but that's not the case. Actually we have people from almost everywhere in the world : it is very convenient to plan out world domination.
Most of us use Skype (www.skype.com) to chit-chat about our projects... a little... and lots about random stuff, fangirl stuff, world domination matters and other entertaining things. We also hang out at our Cbox, don't hesitate to talk with us there =D We don't bite... well, bad example... We are nice people ^^''
One peculiar thing about us is that we all have countless nicknames... So that you won't be confused by them, I will try to put a list of them here... But as new nicks keep popping up everyday, I think I will never get an exhaustive listing XD Gambatte !

Yumipop is our human lollipop, she is very sweet and kind~ As the head of shounen division, she assigns work to her little editors, and quality-checks the chapters, chooses new projects, ... But she also edits lots of chapters herself ! And will translate our malaysian manga. Yumi is very fun to talk to haha
Mai in Wonderland

Mai is our most active Japanese translator (she translates LOADS of chapters !), and she manages the shoujo division (quality checks, chooses new projects,... and keep things going XD). She also buys manga books in Japan and sends them to the scanners. She is a tattoo and Alice in Wonderland addict XD
Zeppy
Nicks: Zet, Zepcicle, Zeppidoodle, zepaep,... basically, whenever you see something beginning with a "z", there's a great chance that's me =.=
